Brand new start!

I am so excited that today, I joined the Science Interpreter Training Program at the University of Tokyo as project assistant professor. This program started in 2005 with support of the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), along with MAJESTy at Waseda University and CoSTEP at Hokkaido University, all of which aim to improve the science-society relationship in the country. The program at the University of Tokyo focuses particularly on the training of young researchers, and offers various courses to highly-motivated graduate students from a wide range of disciplinary backgrounds. This is a fantastic opportunity for me to engage teaching based on what I have learned from conducting social studies on science and technology.
